High Grove – your Florida holiday FAQ

Why should I choose High Grove villa?

Our villa is on a quiet, gated community yet close to all the major attractions. The villa has all mod cons and is tastefully decorated throughout, sleeping 8 comfortably, but can accommodate up to 10.

Does the villa overlook other property?

No – High Grove villa is on the southern point of the community with a private pool and spa that overlooks a lake and woodland within a conservation area.

Is the villa child friendly?

There is a child alarm fitted on the doors that access the pool, as well as other safety features. High Chairs and Cots are available free of charge.

For the more energetic children (and adults !), there is a games room with Pool Table, Table Tennis, Darts and Air Hockey available. The main lounge also has as a DVD player.

Does the villa have Wi-Fi?

Yes there is free Wi-Fi available. Also, there is cable TV offering a wide selection of programmes, and you are able to use the telephone with local calls being free, and international dialling where charges apply.

Is smoking permitted and are pets allowed at the property?

This is a non-smoking property, and regrettably pets are not permitted.

How far is the villa from the main attractions and other amenities?

We are around a 45 minutes drive from the airport (MCO); 15 minutes to the gates of Disney; 35 minutes to Universal; the nearest golf course is only 5 minutes away, as are the popular Walmarts and Publix supermarkets; there are a wide range of bars and restaurants similarly within a short drive, and a family run pub within walking distance. Further afield the Gulf Coast beaches and Kennedy Space Centre are within a 75 minute drive.

How do I reserve the villa?

Firstly complete the enquiry form. We will contact you with information on how to reserve the villa and this will be secured on receipt of a deposit and a completed booking form. The balance of the holiday is then due 8 weeks prior to the holiday, together with a refundable ‘breakage’ deposit. Payment can be made by PayPal, all major Credit or Debit Cards, cheque or bank transfer. Please follow this link for the Paypal payment page. Note that discounts may be available on late bookings.

Who is the villa owned by?

Mark and Jane are from Hampshire in the UK and, with their 4 children are regular visitors to Florida. Feel free to contact them with any questions you might have.

Who looks after the villa?

Homes of America are our property agents looking after the villa during your stay. They will clean the villa before you arrive and look after the pool area. They are there to provide you with any help and advice you might need and are on hand in the unlikely event of any problems. They can also arrange for discounted theme park and other tickets.

What if our holiday is a special occasion?

We can try and accommodate any requests you might have to make your stay even more enjoyable. So for example we can arrange (at cost) for birthday/anniversary cakes, flowers or champagne to be delivered to the villa. Please note welcome/grocery packs can also be ready for your arrival.
